Eliana was set on being a dancer since the moment she watched a video performance of ‘Paquita’ by the world famous ballerina Paloma Herera. From that moment on she worked hard in summer programs that ranged from full scholarships at American Ballet Theater to Joffrey Ballet. She became one of the original cast members of Cirque Du Soleil’s show ‘Viva Elvis’ in 2009 at the age of 18. After transitioning to being an aerialist in Cirque, she went on a journey of a lifetime being blessed as the winner of FOX’s season 9 hit tv show So You Think You Can Dance. Wrapping up that experience, she toured the world with Taylor Swift in 2013-14 on the RED Tour. Eliana has performed in awards shows such as the Billboards, AMA’s, Grammy’s, Brit Awards, CMA’s and many more. After finishing her time in Los Angeles, Eliana decided to explore the way different cultures connect to dance. She lived in Israel for 6 months where she worked with the renowned international company Batsheva and the director Ohad Naharin. Continuing the purpose of growing in knowledge of dance internationally, Eliana is currently touring around Europe in countries such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Netherlands with the German shlogger artist Helene Fischer. Being that her origins are in the concert world she holds true to the importance of being connected to yourself as an artist on a physical, mental, and spiritual level. She hopes to share a new perspective in the exploration of movement to all ages and walks of life. Art, in the expression of dance, has changed Eliana’s life more than she could have ever hoped for, and is extremely grateful for the opportunity to share new perspectives through dance.
